Facebook’s Fouad WhatsApp just announced a new feature that allows users to choose to automatically delete messages after seven days.
Facebook’s Fouad WhatsApp package test multi-device information transmission can be used without a mobile phone
On the afternoon of July 15th, according to reports, Facebook recently announced that it will conduct a limited beta test for Fouad WhatsApp’s multi-device messaging function. In the future, even if the mobile phone of Fouad WhatsApp users is out of power, after the official launch of the multi-device messaging feature, you can still use Fouad WhatsApp on up to 4 non-mobile devices as usual.
Currently, users must connect their smartphone to use Fouad WhatsApp Web or Fouad WhatsApp Desktop. Under the new feature, however, each device will independently connect to the user’s Fouad WhatsApp, while maintaining the same level of privacy and security through end-to-end encryption.
Provides seamless synchronization Automatic device verification
Facebook said it has developed new technology to sync user data across devices, including contact names, chat history, and tagged information, while maintaining end-to-end encryption.
Under the new architecture, each device has its own identity key, and expanded security codes and automatic device verification prevent maliciously compromised servers from stealing user communications. However, when setting and controlling which devices are connected to the account, users need to continue to scan the QR code with their mobile phone to connect the new device.
The company only noted that it plans to conduct initial testing with a designated small group of users in the existing beta program and continue to improve it, adding other additional features. As for the official launch, it has yet to be officially announced.
